The OPI supports the PMEs in the development and realisation of innovative ideas by facilitating their participation in research projects and development (R&D), be they national or international.
This support is mainly aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises to help develop an innovation with the backing of R&D partners (colleges, research institutes,…) and pilot user partners.
The activities of the OPI include :
• The evaluation of the commercial potential of the innovation
• The identification of partners having complementary competences,
• Aid toward setting up a consortium of a multi-partner project,
• Project structuring and planning,
• The management of intellectual property rights,
• The realisation and submittal of the project proposal to finance programmes
