This support is addressed principally to small and medium-sized enterprises that are seeking to develop an innovation with the support of R&D partners (university-level institutions, research institutes) and pilot users.
The activities of the OPI include:

• Evaluation of the commercial potential of the innovation
  
• Identification of partners with complementary skills
  
• Partnership agreements
  
• Structuring and planning of the project
  
• Management of the intellectual property rights
• Submission of the project to financing programmes (e.g. CTI)
